The brain drain is the most important issue happening for Indians despite of Make in India` policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now the brain of a few engineers is used for an interesting Kannada cinema by Sanchalana Movies – the producer, director, a few actors are all qualified engineers. They have left the job for a film that is dedicated to the farmers.

Forest Encroachment` is the subject that is very appealing for the bunch of techies in Hombanna`. The film carries the real issues (that is also getting solution from government of Karnataka), struggles, events, pain faced by the farmers says producer Ramakrishna Nigade in the film written and directed by Rakshit Thirthahalli. For the debut actors Subbu Talabi, Dhanu Gowda, Varsha Acharya, Pavitra, Sharmitha Shetty (of ETV News), veterans like Dattanna, Suchendra Prasad, Ninasam Ashwath, Mysuru Mimicry Gopi, The issues of forest encroachment a big worry for farmers but not for the bigwigs in the law books is the great cause of worry. The research work of Rakshit dates back to 2013. Obviously one could understand what is told is already followed by the rulers of the state. It is a mass and class film says Rakshit who hails from Malnad region. According to him Hombanna` means Niriksheya Banna!

Hailing from Bagalkot, northern Karnataka Ramakrishna Nigade has pooled Rs.2 crores from his 13 years of Service in Sony Technology. He is also farmer from Norther Karnataka Bagalkot district with fifty acres of land. The film is already getting platform in festival is his happiness of this producer Ramakrishna Nigade.

Subbu playing the lead has worked on different body language and Malnad culture, tradition is a good showcase he says. Dhanu Gowda from Kanakapura happy for the content moving with the songs, the Nayi Mole…song, tongue twister one…are also very beautifully arranged in the film.Varsha from Madikeri plays the female lead says adjusting to the environment of the film was not difficult because of her upbringing. Sharmitha Shetty in the New Section of ETV felt the role was as if an assignment from her office. She is also happy for learning Kannada with senior actor Suchindra Prasad.

Vinu Manasu has composed seven songs in which six are written by director. From the face book friends another song was arrived for the film with two lines from six friends. That sounds very interesting. Shabarish worked in direction department and also played Rachaiah role.Navarasan, actor, director and distributor is taking up this film and he urges for percentage system for medium budget film support.
